The Sungrow SBR224 is a high-voltage battery with Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) cells. These cells are Cobalt-free and are known as the safest and most durable battery chemistry currently available. This also makes this type of home battery more environmentally friendly and future-proof.
Sungrow's SBR224 battery is modular, compact in size, and designed for direct use. It offers flexible capacity ranging from 9.6kWh to 102.4kWh. When combined with the three-phase Sungrow hybrid inverters, this battery can operate within a range of 5-50kW.
Through the Sungrow app, users have access to all essential information regarding their solar panel energy production and stored energy management. Both the inverter and the battery can be initialized with a single click, enabling automatic commissioning and real-time yield management.

The Sungrow SBR224 Lithium-ion home battery is suitable for housing seven battery modules. The battery has a nominal capacity of 22.4kWh and a Nominal DC power of 13.44kWh. The nominal voltage is 448V.
The Sungrow SBR224 home battery has an IP rating of 55, allowing the battery module to be placed both indoors and outdoors. Using the Plug & Play principle, the battery can be easily connected to an existing solar panel system with a hybrid inverter.
